|Cream Cheese||8 oz|
|Butter||1/2 lb (2 sticks)|
|Self Rising Flour||2 cups|
|Vanilla Extract||2 tbsp.|
Ingredients must be at room temperature for better consistency of cake batter. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
At high speed, blend butter and cream cheese until a smooth cream base is seen. Add sugar interlacing it with eggs. Once done reduce speed of mixer to lowest speed and slowly add flour at 1/4 cup increments. Make sure flour is blended thoroughly prior to adding additional flour. Note: alternative method is to manually fold flour to batter.
Once flour is added, add Vanilla extract and pour batter into pan.
Bake 350 degrees for 35 in convection oven, 45 minutes in a regular oven.
